I possibly underestimated the number of responses we could get for the international shorebird counts, and in general, for the initiative of celebrating the World Shorebirds Day from now on. I am thrilled by the feedback of experts, activists, birdwatchers and leaders of different organizations. Following the extensive eMail campaign and social media communications, there are some organizations as potential partners already. Under the ‘Partners‘ menu, we’ve added those organizations, which already responded positively. Soon more and more organizations and supporters will be added.
In the next couple weeks lots of things will happen to make this commemorative day a successful global event. The best way not to miss the new announcements is, to follow the blog and get eMail notification whenever a new post is published.
